Will it disrupt my machines or production?
No. Setup is non-invasive and takes minutes per machine: no rewiring, no modification, no downtime. A small sensor sits on the outside of the machine, so nothing about how the machine runs changes.
How long until it's live?
A pilot on a few machines is live the same day. Most factories have their products, materials and shifts fully configured within a few days, and from then on it just runs.
Do operators have to enter any data?
No. Your output is measured, not typed: production, stock and cost are calculated automatically from each machine. You set up your products and plans once, then only correct exceptions. Operators carry on exactly as they always have.
Where does my data live, and is it secure?
Blitz is hosted and managed for you: no server to buy, nothing to maintain. Your data belongs to you: export it whenever you like, and we never sell or share it.
Do I need my own server or an IT team?
No. We host, secure and update Blitz for you: nothing to install, nobody to hire. Your factory just needs its regular internet connection, and you can see your floor live from anywhere: the office, home or the road.
Does Blitz replace my accounting software?
No. It complements it. Blitz feeds your accounting software clean entries and adds the live, floor-level visibility it can't. You keep what you use today.
Why not just a spreadsheet or a basic ERP?
Because their numbers are typed, and typed numbers arrive late, drift wrong and depend on whoever fills them. Blitz measures output at the machine and keeps production, cost, stock and profit correct automatically (through product changes, stoppages and shift changes), then brings what needs you to you. A spreadsheet tells you what already happened, when someone finally opens it.
What's the difference between Blitz and Blitz Plus?

How does material intake work?

What can Jarvis do?

Which factories is Blitz built for?
Factories where output is machine-paced and a few products run in volume. Power looms, narrow fabric and webbing, woven sacks and FIBC, rope and twine, wire and cable and plastics extrusion are the strongest fits. Will it work with my old machines?
Yes. The small sensor is fitted with no rewiring, so age and make don't matter. Old, new or mixed: if a machine runs, Blitz can track it.
How do I use AI in my manufacturing business?
Start where it pays back immediately rather than where the articles start. In a factory of 20 to 50 machines that means three things: letting AI read the purchase orders and supplier bills that arrive as photos and PDFs, so your costing runs on this week's rates instead of last month's; letting it read your own production record back to you, so you can see which customers are growing and which have quietly stopped ordering; and being able to ask questions about the business in plain language instead of building a report. Where do I start with AI in my factory?
Not with the AI — with what it would read. Most small factories record production on a sheet at the end of a shift and key it in days later, so any AI reasoning over those numbers is reasoning over a guess. Measure output off the machine first, then point AI at the paperwork you already handle, then start asking it questions. Done in that order it works from day one; done in reverse it is an expensive way to be wrong faster.
Do I need a data scientist or an IT team to use AI here?
No. You are not training a machine learning model of your own, and there is no server to run. Blitz is hosted and managed for you, and we set it up — the work on your side is fitting a small sensor to machines you already own, which needs no rewiring, no PLC and no integration project. The advice about hiring data scientists and running pilot projects is written for plants a hundred times your size.
Will AI replace my workers?
No. Nothing in Blitz runs a machine or makes a product — your operators do exactly what they do today. What it removes is the copying: bills retyped into a computer, production figures transcribed off a sheet, reports assembled by hand at the weekend. In practice that gives an office of two or three people their week back, rather than replacing anybody.
Is AI worth it for a factory my size?
It depends what you point it at. The two use cases every article leads with — predictive maintenance and computer-vision quality inspection — need volumes of failure and defect data a small plant will not have for years, which is why AI feels out of reach at this size. The jobs that pay back in weeks need only your own data: current rates off your own bills, a real cost per unit, and a straight answer when you ask which product actually made money last month.
Can AI reduce my manufacturing costs?
Not by itself, and anyone promising otherwise is selling something. AI does not lower your power tariff or your raw material rate. What it does is make the true cost of each product visible while you can still act on it — which is usually the first time an owner discovers that a product they have quoted the same way for years now loses money. The saving comes from what you do next: re-quote it, drop it, or move it to a cheaper machine.
